2048: Drop And Merge is a game centered around strategically placing and merging numbered tiles. Despite the straightforward rules, players will find themselves challenged to strategize in order to achieve victory.

The game board comprises four columns, each with five cells. Players can tap on empty cells to drop a tile into the respective column. The tiles descend to the lowest position in the column or until they collide with another tile. Matching tiles merge, creating a tile with a doubled number. In the 2048 game mode, players can move the topmost tiles horizontally to other columns, one at a time. When moving a tile, it transitions to the tile dispenser and combined with the current tile. Subsequently, the lower tile falls into the touched column while the upper tile relocates to another column if viable. In the 2048+ mode, touching top tiles won't allow for manual relocation; instead, matching tiles merge horizontally as well as vertically.

Players earn bonuses for placing tiles strategically, helping them progress in the game by achieving specific milestones. Bonuses can be activated by touching them and then applying them to selected tiles. The game offers three distinct bonuses:

• Division: Divides the number on a tile by 2.
• Pick Up: Allows the player to select and relocate any tile on the game board.
• Remove: Eliminates any unwanted tile from play.

The primary objective of 2048: Drop And Merge is to create a tile with the number 2048. However, players can continue beyond this point, attempting higher numbers such as 4096 and 8192. The game progression continues until no free cells remain on the playing field or all available bonuses have been utilized.
